Psychotherapist
Adebusola developed an interest in Counseling due to her experience as a social worker in Nigeria during her national youth service. She helped provide community development to the less privileged and free food supply for orphans and vulnerable children. Due to her passion for helping people, she was trained as a peer recovery specialist at Bowie State University in the United State and became a certified peer recovery specialist.
Adebusola has a passion for Mental Health profession to be of support to individuals who struggle with various addictions and Mental Health challenges. She had experience in recovery treatment from Prince George's Department of Correction, where she did her volunteering job for four months. She conducted an assessment and provided individual and group treatment for clients enrolled in comprehensive corrections recovery and treatment for the inmate services division. She provided one-on-one Counseling to adults with a history of substance abuse disorders and chronic mental illness.
I Adebusola had her bachelor's degree in international studies in Nigeria. She received her Master's in Counseling Psychology from Bowie State University. She had one year of experience in Counseling during her internship with Metropolitan Health Behavioral Services.
