Community Outreach Coordinator
Responsibilities: The Community and Client Outreach Coordinator will serve as an advocate and liaison between the Ark organization and community agencies and the populations served. This position largely supports the work of the Organization’s grant-funded Ark of God Counseling and Wellness initiatives. May include identifying and preparing Organization staff to participate in community events.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business, or related fields. Preferred experience of 3-5 years within non-profit fundraising or outreach activities. Customer service experience preferred Health and Human Services experience preferred Community relations work or public affairs experience preferred Problem solving, innovative, critical thinking skills.

Internship
Students seeking an internship with ARK may apply for field placement by sending a current resume, the name of the college or university, the desired start date, and the type of internship being sought, i.e., clinical or administrative.
ARK is proud to offer an excellent practicum and/or internship experience to each intern. Interns receive weekly, individual supervision by a master counselor who gets to know each intern as an individual. Additionally, interns participate in monthly group supervision by the Executive Director and other counselors at the center. Interns at ARK are unpaid, but they do not pay for any supervision received during their practicum or internship.
Due to the nature of our business, the on-boarding process for internships may take up to 30 days or longer. This process includes an agreement between ARK and the educational facility, followed by background screening and orientation for the intern. To help move with the process along please contact the coordinator at your college or university to inquire if there is already an affiliation agreement in place with ARK Counseling Center.

Nonprofit Leadership Intern
Responsibilities: Board Development: Provide support to the President & CEO as it pertains to the Board. May assist with preparing the Board Agenda, preparing Board Reports, working with Board Committees, assist with Board Orientations, and Board Meetings. Nonprofit Medical Admin Assistant Intern
Responsibilities: Provide support in Administrative and Clerical. Greetings patients, answering any questions patients may have, helping them fill out the required forms. Answering phone calls, creating appointments, directing the calls as required and handling all queries. Inform the therapist, board members and other health workers about impending appointments. Maintaining a filling system for all patients documents and reports submitted. Answering emails and other electronic messages as required.
